Transportation & Work Site

How do you plan to travel to your assigned site?
Please note that those driving or riding in personal vehicles to work sites still need to check-in at Dahlstrom Student Center to receive their work assignment.

Service Team Captains are appointed to facilitate a small group of fellow volunteers at the assigned work site only, such as taking a headcount before travel, or communicating with the Nonprofit site leader.
In addition to participating in Celebrate Service… Celebrate Yates, would you like to be a Service Team Captain that day?
Service Team Captains serve as the primary point of contact between the Nonprofit site leader and the select volunteers assigned to that specific work site.
Service Captains may be asked to take head counts for departing and return trips, or carry water bottles, protective gloves and/or a first aid kit on behalf of their work group. Service Captains will be appointed during check-in and will be provided necessary information by the CSCY coordination team.

Required Permissions to Participate
A completed waiver must be submitted for ALL CSCY volunteers, in order to participate in the annual day of service. Any youth ages 15 or below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and provide a signed waiver. Teens between 15-18 can volunteer unaccompanied but must provide the signature of a parent or guardian.
If you are submitting registrations for multiple members of a group, team, or family, separate waivers must be submitted for each individual to participate.

I understand that I am spending the day as a volunteer on projects organized by the Celebrate Service...Celebrate Yates (CSCY) Planning Committee. I understand that I am responsible for my conduct and I will only perform work that I am physically able and feel comfortable doing.
I understand and acknowledge that the volunteer work I do may be hazardous and may result in injury, loss, or death. As a participant, I agree to release the Celebrate Service...Celebrate Yates (CSCY) Committee, sponsors, and nonprofit agencies of any project that I work on from any and all claims that may arise as a result of any expenses, personal injury, loss or damages incurred by me during my participation on the day of service. I also grant permission for Celebrate Service...Celebrate Yates (CSCY) and Keuka College to use any photos, films or videos of me or my likeness in legitimate accounts and promotions of the event. *
